Useful pages

This is a State forest, not the national park

Yadboro State Forest is a Forestry Corporation of NSW working forest on the Clyde River, west of Milton and Ulladulla on the NSW South Coast. It is not Morton National Park, not the Budawangs, and not Pigeon House Mountain (Didthul). Those sit on the same hills under NPWS. The drive in from Ulladulla runs Wheelbarrow Road through Meroo National Park — that is a different manager page too. Yadboro is the forest most visitors meet at Yadboro Flat: picnic and free first-come camping on the river, bass fishing, bushwalking and 4WD touring. Official: dogs allowed only at the Yadboro Flat camping area, not in adjoining national park. Entry and camping are free. Nothing here is a booking. Yadboro Road closes after weather — official 2024 wording is 2WD in the dry, 4WD recommended when wet. This site is an unofficial operator’s manual in the State Forest Guide Australia network. Check Forestry Corporation before you drive.
